Involvement

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • Learn best through play

  • Are curious and creative

  • Should be exposed to sensory exploration early

No two children have identical skills or learning styles. That is why we employ a Montessori approach to educating your child. Sensory exposure, encouraging independence, positively fostering sharing and cooperation skills are fundamentals that your child will embrace and utilize for a lifetime.

OUR ACADEMY

We are a private part-time preschool that utilizes the Montessori approach when guiding the children throughout their day.

We encourage the development of the whole child by providing a style of montessori child led education by cultivating independent thinking, foundational skills, as well as their awarencess for their environment, senses, empathy for others, social ease, and confidence.

The Sensory Nook has been carefully designed for children to learn through play and real life trial and error. We also create a personalized activity binder. This binder is created after a three day observation and is strongly based on your child's interest. Like all activities offered at The Academy, the binder is an optional activity.

A typical day at The Academy may involve your child being exposed to STEM, geography, practical life, art activities, or whatever may interest them.

One of the most important things The Academy children carry with them after attending is a strong foundation for respect and responsibility.

While attending The Academy your children will continue to establish the intellectual, emotional, and physical demands needed to become a self directed learner, flexible thinker, creative problem solver while continuously being encouraged to embrace their curiosity about the world they reside.
